The Paridarshak media awarded the Eastern India Oil Refinery Workers’ Union (EIORWU), Paradip on the occasion its 12th annual function held in Bhubaneswar recently.
EIORWU general secretary Ranjan Kumar Palai received the award from Water Resources and I and PR Minister Raghunandan Das in presence of Energy Minister Dibya Sankar Mishra, Tirtol MLA Bishnu Das, Odisha Union of Working Journalist president Sugyan Choudhury and Utkal Journalists’ Union president Bibhuti Bhusan Kar.
The multipurpose activities of the EIORWU for development of lower class and its president eminent trade union leader Santosh Kumar Patnaik's dynamic leadership creating a new definition in trade union history in and around Paradip were laudable, said Paridarshak media editor Baba Lalatendu Keshari.
