Recognising the importance of bringing joy back into life, the Paradip Laughing Club (PLC) has made a heartwarming decision. They will organise a laughter programme every month, inviting not only club members but also individuals from all walks of life.
The unanimous decision was taken during a special meeting held here on Wednesday with Dr Kailash Maharana, the club's chairman, presiding over the gathering. Notable attendees included Dr Kulmani Samal, a club advisor and former MP Niranjan Khuntia, general secretary Anant Kumar Das, secretary Sushant Kumar Pattnaik, treasurer Gautam Nayak, and various other dedicated club members.
Subas Chandra Acharya, Akshay Chandra Sutar, Dr. Rajendra Nayak, and Dr. Kulmani Samal shared anecdotes highlighting the significant benefits of wearing a smile and indulging in laughter for one's overall well-being.
Additionally, the club plans to publish a souvenir to help spread the joy of laughter further. A delightful family-friendly reunion is on the agenda for the club's next meeting.
