The suspicious link between Oscar Group and Ollywood stars keeps deepening with many new startling revelations coming to the fore each passing day.
In a fresh revelation in the ongoing probe into the Oscar Group chit fund scam, which has produced some Odia movies, it has come to fore that actor Tattwa Prakash Satpathy alias Papu Pompom had taken Rs2.5 lakh as loan from one Prabhas Rout.
The actor has provided this information in his affidavit as a BJD Assembly candidate in the 2014 elections wherein it is mentioned that he had taken the money from Rout as “personal loan”.
The identity of this Rout, mentioned by Papu in the affidavit, is still officially unknown, but it is believed that he could be the chief of the Oscar Group.
Satpathy had unsuccessfully contested 2014 Assembly polls from the Champua constituency in Keonjhar district.
Meanwhile, on the fourth day of the five-day remand of Prabhas Rout, Crime Branch Special DG Bijay Kumar Sharma personally interrogated Rout on Tuesday.
Sources said the investigating agency may seek a fresh remand of Rout.
