Former Kendrapada MP Baijayant Panda on Monday wrote to High Commission of India in Malaysia Mridul Kumar requesting him to rescue three Odia youths stranded in the foreign country. Mentioning that family members have approached him for help, Panda informed that the three were employed with the AZ Express Resources SDN BHD. As promised, they were not given permanent visa after 3 months of employment and a monthly salary of about Rs.25,000. They want to return to India.
The three are Ashok Mallik of Badaanko village and Narayan Sethi of Singiri under Aul police station in Kendrapada district and Tapan Kumar Baral of Anyashipur under Jajpur district. “Kindly intervene and take appropriate action to get them back to India,” requested Panda.
