It is unfortunate that the terrorists from Pakistan with the full support of their Army have forced upon India an acute war like situations and any moment a possible war between the two countries cannot be ruled out.
Cross border intrusion and firing from Pakistan side still continues, instead of taking some peace measures. The impact of the situation has definitely hurt the sentiments of our countrymen. The hospitality shown to any individual or group from Pakistan, be it by artists, cricket players or cultural groups, has fallen flat to cut any ice.
It is therefore better that such individuals / groups from Pakistan should go back to their country or to any other country till the present situation normalizes. Raj Thackrey is right in telling them to go back, but no force need to be applied.
These people were our guests as tourists and honourably they should quit. In this regard some film artists of Mumbai have argued in support of their stay in India, pleading that they are artists and not terrorists. But their stand is wrong and whatever they say the people of India will not accept. These film artists must also understand that they are now dealing with the sentiments of a nation and country’s security. This is our prime necessity and their personal relationship with Pakistani artists has no concern to our countrymen at this juncture.
It is better now the Pakistani artists should shift themselves to Pakistan or any other country till the situation normalises. It will rather give them more prestige in the years to come. It is time these artists should understand and act.
