The State Government has announced a paid holiday for all Government and private sector employees for the second phase elections scheduled on April 17.In a release, the labour and Employees Insurance Department has directed the owners of all industrial units and trading establishments to grant holiday to their employees on the polling day under the People’s Representation Act, 1996.Polling would be held for 11 lok Sabha and 77 Assembly seats in the second phase.
