PRESIDENT MURMU UNDERGOES CATARACT SURGERY (Pix)
New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu underwent a cataract surgery at the Army Hospital (Referral & Research) here on Sunday. The surgery was successful and she was discharged from the hospital, said a Rashtrapati Bhavan Press release.
EXECUTIVE ENGINEER ARRESTED IN DA CASE
Cuttack: The Vigilance police on Saturday arrested and forwarded to court Mahesh Prasad Patnaik, Executive Engineer, Minor Irrigation Division, Baleswar for possession of disproportionate assets which he could not account for satisfactorily. The income, expenditure and assets of Patnaik were calculated and he was found in possession of disproportionate assets to the tune of Rs 3.73 crore, which is 233% of his known sources of income. Earlier on Friday, the anti-graft agency conducted raids on the properties of Patnaik.
BLOOD DONATION CAMP AT PURI ON CM B’DAY (Pix)
Puri: A blood donation camp was held by the Odisha-Mo Parivar at the Youth Hostel here to mark the birthday of Chief Minister Naveen Pataik on Sunday. The camp was attended by Minister Samir Ranjan Dash and Pipili MLA Rudra Maharathy. The programme was coordinated by BJD youth leader Subhashis Khuntia.

NATIONAL AWARD TO KIIT TBI (Pix)
Bhubaneswar: The KIIT Technology Business Incubator (TBI) was conferred the National Intellectual Property Awards for 2021 and 2022 by the Controller General of Patents, Design, and Trade Marks (CGPDTM) on Sunday. The awards for both years were presented under the category of ‘Best Incubator for Nurturing the IP’ and received by KIIT-TBI CEO Dr Mrutyunjay Suar in New Delhi.

Rayagada: A week-long Maa Gajalaxmi Puja in its 11th year has been organised in by the Sai Youth Association here. Noted priest Devi Prasad Kar performed all the rites.
