The Odisha State Housing Board would soon construct apartments and core houses in Kandhamal district soon to meet requirement of people, informed its Chairman Saroj Karna.
Addressing a press meet here recently, Karna informed that the OSHB has already provided housing loans to 157 persons of Kandhamal district and it is planning to provide more loans to people. However, he said the board can’t provide loans on encroached lands.
He informed that the OSHB has so far constructed 7,073 houses across the State. People are provided Hudco loans for construction of houses on a long term basis.
Notably, Phulbani has a Sub-divisional Cooperative Housing Society, a wing of the OSHB.
Among others, the OSHB regional officials Uchhab Nayak, Siba Tripathy and Prasant Pradhan were present.
