At a time when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is promoting Digital India in America’s Silicon Valley, Union Minister Jual Oram visited leading telemedicine startup and digital healthcare company HelloDoctor24x7 here on Monday.
During an interaction with company’s co-founder Dr lalit Manik, Oram said healthcare in the country needs a great attention.
He praised HelloDoctor24x7's work in bridging the gap between patients and doctors and use of technology to provide telemedicine, e-prescription and medical aid in every part of the State. He also promised to start another initiative to serve tribal people through mobile telemedicine centers.
The initiative would help villagers access to specialist consultation with city-based renowned specialist and super-specialist doctors.
