The long-awaited Kranti Samabesh of the Odisha Jan Morcha (OJM) is all set to take place in an open ground near Aska Road First Gate here on Wednesday. OJM president Pyarimohan Mohapatra will address the rally.
The OJM had earlier decided to organise the rally at Brahmapur MKCG Medical College ground on March 22. However, the party was forced to defer it as permission for it was not granted by the medical college authorities. The OJM had to take shelter in court of law seeking justice in the matter.
Since there was delay in court judgement, the OJM chose the open ground adjacent to Aska Road First Gate as an alternate venue. The rally ground belongs to veteran trade union leader, senior advocate and OJM coordinator for Ganjam district Santosh Kumar Mohapatra, revealed sources.
There is enthusiasm among OJM supporters to hear OJM secretary general Jagneswar Babu, who was granted bail by the High Court on Tuesday after being jailed in a case for more than a month.
