Following an order of the High Court, the State Government on Thursday day rescheduled the councelling process for fresh choice locking by students pertaining to admission to BTech and diploma courses in engineering on the basis of ranks in the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) - 2013 and Diploma Entrance Test (DET) – 2013 from June 24 to July 5. The provisional list will be published on July 10.
“Relocking will be opened for all candidates through suitable notifications. The desired candidates for relocking can go for their respective nodal centers and opt for opening their lock choices by use of passwords by the candidate and the nodal offices simultaneously,” said Employment and Technical Education and Training Minister Pratap Keshari Deb.
The single-judge bench of Justice Sanju Panda on Wednesday had directed the technical education secretary to extend the time of counselling by allowing de novo choice locking, rescheduling it from June 24 to July 5.
