Paris-based Odia sculptor Gadadhar Ojha will represent India at a symposium at the National Park, Hanich, Germany to be held from June 6 to 15.
The title of Ojha’s project in the symposium Ojha is 'My future planet'. Ojha said, "My work represents socio-ecology. Who will save the planet EarthIJ From the turn of new millennium, world concern over environmental issues such as pollution and global warning, species depletion, new genetic technologies, sustainability and global pandemics has increased. There is so much deforestation that has taken place in the name of development and appearance of too many constructions." Ojha has been chosen by a jury out of 215 applicants from 45 countries.
