Bijoyananda Mishra has taken over as the Chief General Manager (CGM) of the Odisha Telecom Circle with effect from January 31. He is an officer of the Indian Telecom Service of the 1980 batch.
Prior to this, Mishra was posted as the Principal General Manager of Mobile Services of Odisha. Before coming to Odisha, he was working as the CGM for the North Zone of Bharat Broad Band Network limited in its Corporate Office in Delhi. Mishra has wide experiences of working in Bangalore Telecom, Quality Assurance wing as well as heading Project Vijay at the BSNl Corporate Office.
During his earlier tenure, he worked in the Odisha Circle in different locations like B’pur, R’kela, D’nal, Sambalpur, Cuttack and Bhubaneswar. He is taking special care to improve customer care and the quality of services. He has also proposed to reach out to the customers for availing world-class 3G service, Wimax and EVDO.
