The Union Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) has nominated a teacher from Odisha for national award for teachers for his contribution to the noble profession.
Pabitra Mohan Dash is among 46 teachers in the country selected to receive the honour from President
Ram Nath Kovind on the occasion of Teachers’ Day on September 5. Dash is posted as an Assistant Teacher at the Project Upper Primary School in Khataluguda in Boriguma of Koraput district.
He will be conferred with the National Awards to Teachers at a ceremony scheduled at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
The HRD Ministry confers the awards to teachers every year to those who not only improve quality of school education but also enrich the lives of their students.
