Odisha’s singing sensation Satyajit Jena has added another feather to his cap as he got an offer from Oscar award winner and India’s music maestro AR Rahman in the ongoing Sa Re Ga Ma Pa lil Champs 2017 aired on Zee TV on Saturday.
Expressing his pleasure over 11-year-old Satyajit’s performance in the music reality show, Rahman offered him seven-day training at his studio.
Rehman, who joined the programme as the special guest for the May 13 episode, was impressed by Satyajit’s performance. The boy sang one of the songs of Bollywood blockbuster film Roza composed by Rahman and won the music legend’s heart. He secured 99% score from the juries.
Rahman asked Satyajit to sing one of his music compositions. Hearing ‘Sab mata aur pita ke charno mein’, Rahman offered him for one-week internship at his studio. Notably, Satyajit had received the highest percentage of voting in the last episode. He has received huge applause for his extraordinary performances in all the episodes till date.
