The IPS Officers’ Association, Odisha Chapter on Tuesday condemned the violent attack on Delhi police personnel by lawyers and expressed solidarity with them.
“We univocally condemn the violent attack on Delhi police personnel by lawyers in various courts in Delhi. This is totally unacceptable in any democracy. The association stands in complete solidarity with our colleagues of Delhi police. We demand the Union Government at the highest level to take up the matter with the appropriate authority,” the association said.
Odisha-cadre senior police officer and CRUT MD Arun Bothra too condemned the Delhi incident. “So easy to punish cops. So difficult to enforce the law,” tweeted Bothra.
