The all rounder performance of Sushree Dibyadarshini who smashed 39 runs and scalped one wicket and powered the team to beat Jharkhand by two wickets in the Inter State U-19 Women’s Zonal league (EZ) at Dhanbad on Friday. With the win Odisha gained four points.
Winning the toss Odisha elected to field first, Sarojini Giri and Anjali Singh of Odisha scalped three and two wickets respectively and restricted Jharakhand innings for 134 runs. In reply, Odisha lost top five wickets for 27 runs. Sushree scored 39 runs and well supported by Indrani Chhatria contributed unbeaten 23 runs and the team reached the winning target for the loss of eight wickets in 49 runs.
