The Niladrivihar Youth and Cultural Association (NYCA) observed the Odia New Year and Maha Bishuv Sankranti. The association extended its helping hand to orphans, handicapped, homeless and financially-backward students staying in differentshelter homes during the corona pandemic.
As it is not possible to reach out to the students due to the coronarestrictions, a special event was organised under the chairmanship of NYCA president Dr Prakash Chandra Panigrahi where clothes, food items and other daily-use materials for distribution among the students were handed over to the Kanchan Foundation, a leading organisation working in field. Present on the occasion were foundation president Tapas Ranjan Mallick and advisor Subhojit Panda.
They accepted the items gladly and conveyed their heartfelt thanks to the NYCA for its noble gesture and urged to work together. NYCA secretary Biswajit Pattnaik (Silu) gave a brief note about the longjourney of association.
