The Nrusingh Charan Swain Foundation Trust and the lions Club Kendrapada Nilachakra in association the ASMACS Skill Development Centre organised a blood donation camp with a slogan “blood donors are life savers” here on Thursday.
Trust founder laxman Swain motivated trainees of the centre and said, “We became skilled, but it’s our duty to help the needy. We should try to make a bridge between the blood donors and the blood receivers.”
Among others, lions Club Kendrapa Nilachakra president Deepak Choudhury, social activist Arun Das, centre manager Giri Kumar Pati, litina Pati, Jasmin Vedant, Diptiranjan Barik, Bibekananda Das, Nirod Kumar Sahoo and Satya Kumar Biswal were present. The Central Red Cross Blood Bank, Cuttack collected the blood. About fifty units of blood were collected.
