Notification for the second and last phase of elections to lok Sabha and Assembly in the State will be issued on Wednesday. Polling for 11 lok Sabha and 72 Assembly constituencies will be held on April 17 for this phase.
With the issue of notification, the process of filing of nominations will get underway from Wednesday in these seats. March 26 is the last date for filing nominations while scrutiny of the nomination papers will be held the next day. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is March 29. Counting of votes for both the phases will be held on May 16.
