The State Government has no proposal to reduce taxes on petrol and diesel now, informed Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister Surjya Narayan Patro in the State Assembly in response to a question of Congress MLA Bhujabala Majhi on Wednesday.

Patro informed that the State Government had collected a total of revenue of Rs 4,994.19 crore from petrol and diesel in 2017-18 and Rs 3,885.88 crore during the current year 2018-19 till December 2018.
