At the instance of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Development Commissioner Pradeep Jena and 5T Secretary VK Pandian on Thursday visited the NIRTAR at Olatpur and drew up plans for its development.
The Niali-Olatpur road would be made two-lane and the hospital’s surrounding areas would be developed by acquiring the nearby lands.
The visiting officials interacted with patients and local residents about the development plans.
Works Department Secretary Vir Vikram Yadav and Cuttack district Collector Bhabani Chaini were present.
