Health and Family Welfare Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak on Tuesday said at least nine persons have died in dengue while as many as 3,567 people have tested dengue positive so far in the State.
“So far, nine persons have been killed in dengue. Till today, 99 people have been admitted at the SCB Medical College Hospital, Cuttack, of which three persons are undergoing treatment in the ICU,” the Minister said, adding that many people have returned home after treatment.
The dengue death toll has gone up to nine following the latest death of three patients at the SCB Medical College Hospital.Hospital sources said most dengue patients are coming from Jajpur district.
