The Niladrivihar Youth and Cultural Association in the city observed its 21st annual function by organising various events and meetings on Monday.
Speaking at the function as the chief guest special DG of Police Sanjeev Marik praised the initiatives of the association in enriching the sociocultural ethos of the locality for the last two decades and urged the members of the association to focus on nation building.
On the occasion association coordinator Sukanta Rout, cultural secretary Sri Kumar Barik, senior member Basanta Kumar Mallick and Prakash Chandra Sahoo (Gagan) were felicitated for their self-less contribution and whole hearted support. Senior police officer and a renowned TV and film actor Premanjan Parida, corportaors of ward number 8 and 14 Monalisha Sahoo and Debi Prasad Mallick, principal advisor of the association Er Abhaya Kumar Samantray and Venketswar English Medium Group of Schools director Chandrasekhar Pati, association president Dr Prakash Chandra Panigrahi attended the event.
