The Niladrivihar Youth and Cultural Association (NYCA) and the Mahabir Committee held a condolence meeting here for the martyred CRPF Jawans under chairmanship its president Dr Prakash Chandra Panigrahi. Bhubaneswar North MLA Priyadarshi Mishra, former NYCA president Manmohan Patnaik, Senior Citizens’ Forum working president Anand Chandra Patnaik, Bansidhar Sethi and former Corporator Debi Prasad Mallik, among others, paid homage to the martyrs.
The members also lighted lamps and prayed for Jawans’ protection at the border. A two-minute silent prayer was observed and a candlelight march was taken out where the participants chanted slogans like ‘Bharat Mata ki Jay’ and ‘Saheed Jawan Amar Rahe’
