The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has directed the Cuttack Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) to submit an action-taken report (ATR) over the molestation case occurred at Bhubanananda Odisha School of Engineering (Bose) last month. Acting on a petition filed by Human Rights Watch secretary Sangita Swain, the commission has sought the report within four weeks. According to the petitioner, Bose instructor Durga Prasad Sinha molested one girl student namely Monalisa Rout during practical classes several times with a threat to fail her in the examination.
