A new Vigilance Division would be formed in Rourkela to provide better services to the concerned people.
With this, the strength of the Vigilance Divisions in the State has come up toseven, informed a release from the Vigilance Directorate here.
The new Vigilance Division, which would be bifurcated from the Sambalpur Division, would function in three revenue districts, i.e., Sundargarh, Jharsuguda and Deogarh.
Now, as many as 29 posts have been shifted from the Sambalpur Division and a total of 67 posts are created in the newly-formed division.
