With a view to protecting the language and culture of Odisha and the Hindu culture in various ways, a new social organisation, Odisha Suraksha Sena (OSS), was formed here on Saturday.
Abhisek Joshi was elected as the State president of the organisation’s governing body. The other members of the body include Deepak Gauda (adviser), Gajendra Behera (general secretary), Biswambhar Mohapatra (secretary), Girija Prasanna Dash (joint secretary) and Rajesh Patra (treasurer). Besides, several others were assigned charges for various departments of the body.“The main aim of the organisation is to raise various issues of common people and provide justice to them, protect Hindu culture, remove social evils from the State,” said Joshi.
