The Birthplace-to-Warfield Yatra, which has been carrying birthplace soil of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose from Cuttack since January 16, reached Chennai on Thursday afternoon.A host of important persons, including MDMK chief Vaiko, Sri Red Sun Ambikapathi Central Chennai Secretary R Priyakumar and noted lawyer TJ Thangavalu, welcomed the holy soil at the Chennai Air Port.
The yatra is being carried out by a team of the Utkal Bikash Yuva Parishad members led by its president Debiprasad Prusti in order to create a passion among people about the great life.The team and MDMK members observed Netaji Jayanti at Thirunveli near Madurai. lot of people were seen joining the group.
