Hundreds of BJD workers and blind supporters of former Minister Prafulla Chandra Ghadai have urged party supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to reconsider Ghadai’s expulsion from party.
Holding meeting and rallies at various places in Sukinda block, the party workers have been urging the Chief Minister to reconsider his decision as the senior leader has done a lot for the party particularly in their area.
A meeting which was held here on Monday afternoon under the leadership of Sukinda Union leader Narayan Dhir, where nearly 5,000 people gathered, also urged the Chief Minister to reconsider his decision.
They said they would hold such rallies and meeting across the district to press for their demand.
