Whether it is common people of the State or lord Jagannath, the Naveen Government spares none. It has tortured one and all and lord Jagannath at last, alleged newly appointed national secretary of BJP Suresh Pujari during a welcome ceremony on Saturday. Pujari said the BJD Government is the most inefficient in spending funds coming from Centre. In order to hide its own weakness, it is always blaming the Centre, Pujari blamed further. He thanked national president of the party Amit Saha and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving such a high responsibility on him.

“My responsibility has increased manifold. I will try my best to reflect the problems of Odisha in Delhi and work for all-round development of the backward State full of natural resources and industries,” stated Pujari at the BJP party office here. Odisha has no contribution for formation of BJP Government at Centre. Still, the Prime Minister has his blessing hands on the State as he is above narrow politics,Pujari boasted.

The Government of Modi wants uniform development all over the country. But the misrule of the Naveen Government and its incapability to spend Central aid is creating regional imbalance all over the State and Sambalpur is the worst sufferer, he commented. “Sambalpur will be the Kurkshetra from where a mass movement will be initiated against the State Government,” Pujari threatened, adding that no chance would be given to the State Government to create regionalism amongst its people.

The State suffers from many problems. Atrocities on women and children and particularly on tribal girls in hostels are in the rising graph. law and order has deteriorated like anything. Theft and burglary has reached the maximum extent. But the silence of the State Government is another surprise and people fail to understand the reason, Pujari attacked further. “Our natural and water resources remain underutilized. Half of the country’s industries are in Odisha. But the State is still languishing under poverty, illiteracy and other problems. Hence, the BJP will not keep silence over these issues and fight tooth and nail, he assured.

At the outset hundreds of BJP supporters brought Puajri from Dhanupalichowk to the party office in a vast motor cycle rally. Kuchinda MlA Rabi Naik, Nuapada MlA Basanta Panda, former MP (RS) Surendra lath, former MlA Jayanarayan Mishra, district BJP president Nauri Naik and many other senior leaders of the party were present in the welcome ceremony.
