A new socio-political outfit Rastriya Nava Nirman Party was launched here by local people from a cross-section of society on Wednesday.
Srihari Pattnaik was nominated its president, while Prafulla Chandra Padhi, Kiran Kumar, Sasmita Pattnaik and Shankar Maharana were nominated as vice president, general secretary, treasurer and joint treasurer, respectively. In addition, there are five secretaries who include Debendra Nayak, A Girija, Bishnupriya Swain, Titu Sethi and Susanta Subudhi.
The party would field candidates in the forthcoming general elections, said president Pattnaik. “Cent per cent employment opportunity for youth, security for women and senior citizens, upgradation and modernization of agriculture, creation of more forests for a balanced and eco-friendly environment, solution of water problem and improvement in health sector would be our priorities,” Pattnaik maintained.
