Name corrupt IAS officers, Baijayant Panda asked

PNS

A day after Biju Janata Dal MP  Baijayant Panda said that corrupt IAS officers also exist in Odisha, BJD vice-president and Minister Damodar Rout on Saturday dared him to name them, if any.

“I would like to thank him (Panda) for his take on corrupt people. But he should categorically name the corrupt IAS officers for larger interest of Odias,” Rout told reporters when asked to comment on Panda’s Tweet.

Congress spokesperson #Debasish Patnaik also demanded that Panda name the corrupt IAS officers of Odisha.

On Friday, responding to a follower’s Tweet over the recent news on a corrupt Karnataka IAS officer having allegedly accepted bribes in the Janthakal mining scam to spend on his son’s lifestyle, Panda, who is already in the eye of storm following his ‘anti-BJD’ newspaper columns and Twits, re-tweeted saying, “Such IAS officers exist all over India, sadly including Odisha. They plunder in collusion with some Netas and need to be ousted.”
