In a certificate forgery case, the RDC (Central) directed the district administration here to file FIR against a Nalco-based engineer and his brother for obtaining caste certificates fraudulently.
The RDC (Central Division) passed the order against Kartik Chandra Pal, son of Purna Chandra Pal, of Ramnagar village under Jamboo Marine police station following the State Level Scrutiny Committee (SLSC) gave its final orders against Kartik, implicating him in a forgery case.
Kartik is working as an engineer in Control and Instrumentation of CPP, Nalco, in Angul. He was found guilty of possessing fake caste certificate in the inquiry.
One Basant Kumar Sethy , the president of SC/ST Forum of Kendrapada, had filed a complaint petition through the General Manager of Nalco by the RDC –cum-Chairman of State Level Scrutiny Committee(SLSC) Central Division ,Cuttack on May 4, 2017 alleging that Kartik had availed SC reservation benefits to get the job in Nalco though he belongs to Kumbhakar(OBC & SEBC).
After getting compaliant in this regard , the case was sent to District Vigilance Cell of Kendrapada for conducting an inquiry. The Investigating Officer of District Vigilance cell later submitted inquiry report to joint Director ,SSD and members Convener in 2018.
But in inquiry report ,it was found genealogy and other relevant details report was lacking for which DSP, Kendrapada was again directed to inquire into alleged matter on June 6, 2018.
