Nabarangpur district’s Beheda Circle Revenue Inspector laxman Nayak was arrested by Vigilance officials on Friday for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs4,000. Nayak had demanded bribe from one Subrat Biswas of Dorgaguda village in the district to submit enquiry report in a mutation case. On Biswas’s complaint, a trap was laid and laxman Nayak caught red-handed by Vigilance officers in his office room.
