Noted sportswoman Dutee Chand on Monday revealed that her 24-year-old cousin brother Utkal Guin, who recently died in a road accident while driving her car on National Highway-5 near Biju Nagar under the Kuakhia police station of Jajpur district, fell prey to the killer Blue Whale challenge game.
“Utkal was playing Blue Whale game and had earlier cut his left arm with a blade and uploaded his photo in the Facebook. I suspect that under the influence of the Blue Whale game he dashed the car against a truck and ended his life,” said Chand.When contacted, IIC of Kuakhia police station Ashis Kumar Sahoo said, “Utkal Guin died in a road accident when the car collided with a truck on last Wednesday morning. Nobody has stated before us that he was playing Blue Whale game."
