PNS

For the first time, flute maestro and Hindustani classical musical connoisseur Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia will share his inspiring life in music during a musical extravaganza Hari Rang Hari Sang to be held at the Rabindra Mandap here on February 14. The musical event will be organised to mark completion of five years of Vrindaban Gurukul, the brain child of Pandit Hariprasad, in Bhubaneswar. An innovative stage format and huge popular show, the Hari Rang Hari Sang will be hosted for the first time in the State. The show had earlier been performed in metros like Mumbai, Pune and Delhi.

Instead of playing any music through his magnificent bamboo instrument, the Padma Vibhushan awardee would rather talk and respond to some interesting anecdotes and experiences from his musical life, including his earlier days in Odia and Hindi film industries. Besides, students of the Vrindaban Gurukul are all set to enthrall music lovers through their mesmerizing performance at the musical evening.
