In a bid to expedite the social development process in rural areas in the district, a Khordha District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee meeting was held at the district Collectorate here on Thursday.
In the meeting presided over by Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi, the implementation of the non-statutory schemes of the Central Government was discussed.
The Central Government schemes like Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana, the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana,, Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana , National Food Security Act and other schemes implementation were reviewed by Sarangi.
Among others, Jatni MLA Suresh Kumar Routray, Khordha MLA Jyotirindra Nath Mitra and Khordha Collector Suresh Kumar Rout were present.
