The State Government will sign an MoU with 15 empanelled private hospitals on Friday for availability of treatment facility for poor patients referred by the Government to these hospitals under the Odsiha State Treatment Fund (OSTF).
The Government on May 7 this year had accorded referral hospital status to as many as 21 private hospitals, where below poverty line (BPl) category patients can avail treatment under the OSTF.
Notably, persons from BPl families and those with annual income of less than Rs 40,000 in rural areas and Rs 60,000 in urban areas suffering from serious diseases are given financial assistance up to Rs 3 lakh under the OSTF scheme.
