The Morning Glory Public School at Chandaka on the city outskirts observed its 6th annual festival ‘Glorial-14’ on Monday.
Special DGP Sanjeev Marik inaugurated the event, which was presided over by school Principal Manoranjan Patnaik.
Marik advised the students to lead their life with courage by following moral values and recommended teachers and parents to be careful for building the students as ideal citizens.
The school teachers and other staffs were felicitated with best teacher, best efficient staff, etc, while meritorious students were distributed prizes.
Among others, Rajdhani law College Professor Santosh Kumar Mohanty, former bureaucrat Narayan Prasad Das and school secretary Deptimayi Kar spoke on the occasion.
