The Mohan Sangha celebrated its 33rd foundation day here on Monday. Decisions to provide higher education to poor meritorious students and set up an orphanage for orphaned students during the coming year were taken during the programme held under the chairmanship of Sangha president Sukant Sabat.
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and Shastri Jayanti, floral tributes were paid to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and late prime Minister lal Bahadur Shastri.
Sangha secretary Hari Prasad Mallanna read out the annual report. Among others, Devi Prabha Rath, lopa Samal, Anapurna Behera, Sisir Kumar Padhy, Prabhat Sadangi, Bhisma Chariya Chaudhury, Sucheta Panigrahi, Mano MohanPadhy and Suresh Tripathy were present.
