The schedule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Balangir on January 15 has been finalised.
Sources said Modi would land at the recently-inaugurated Veer Surendra Sai (VSS) Airport in Jharsuguda at 9:30 am and then fly to Balangir by a helicopter. After inaugurating some projects in the area, he would attend the BJP’s Swabhiman Samavesh at 11:45 am and then leave for Kerala at 1:45 pm.
This will be Modi’s third visit to Odisha in last three weeks. Three days after the PM’s Balanir visit, BJP president Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Odisha on January 18 to meet booth-level workers in Cuttack.
