The Ganjam District Kurmi Samaj on Monday felicitated Brahmapur BJD MLA Bikram Kumar Panda at his residence here as a Covid warrior on the occasion of the Rath Yatra.The Kurmi Samaj in its citation praised Panda’s commendable 24x7 services to poor corona patients during the pandemic by reaching out to as many as about 20,000 people and cremating more than 30 Covid deceased.Among others who were present at the felicitation event were district Kurmee Samaj leader Abhimanyu Pradhan, journalist Sudhir Kumar Sahu, advocate Satish Panigrahi and BJD leader Sanjeet Panigrahi.
