Health services were normalised after outsourcing employees of the MKCG Medical College Hospital called off their cease-work stir here on Tuesday after written assurance by the district administration to fulfil their 10-point-charter of demands.
The demands include taking steps towards providing Rs 2 crore pending dues, providing salaries in first week of month, salary hike from April and also paying salary of four holidays and others.
It might be mentioned here that as many as 186 outsourcing employees are working as attendant in 47 departments of the hospital.
Some employees also demanded for regularisation but the authority mentioned that the decision only can be taken by the State Government and assured that they would put up the matter at the table of the higher authorities.
The association also thanked the administration for looking into their matters.
