A body of a minor boy, who was missing for the last five days, was found near a bush in Kodabereni village under the Begunia police station in Khordha district on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Biswajit (16), son of Rabi Mohapatra of the village.
Though the exact reason behind the death was yet to be ascertained, it was alleged that the boy had been kidnapped and later murdered by some miscreants. Demanding arrest of the culprits, angry locals blocked the Baghamari-Kantilo main road. In another incident, a body of an unidentified woman was found hanging from a tree backside of the Balangir railway station. The Government Railway Police recovered the body and started investigation.
