Temple supervisor to conduct enquiry

A small part of lord Baladevjew’s Mathamani (a gold ornament), which had gone missing for last couple of days, was found on Thursday evening by a priest of the temple here in Kendrapada.

However, the Temple Endowment Trust Board has taken seriously of the missing incident. The matter was discussed in a meeting held on Friday in the trust board office wherein temple supervisor, palia panda, sevayats, bada panda and trust board members attended.

The supervisor has been asked to conduct an enquiry and to submit a report in this regard. Steps would be taken according to the report, said Akhaya Pani, a Temple Endowment Trust Board member.

Sevayats and the priests apprehend that the small portion of the Mathamani might have been broken while the palia panda was putting off the ornaments or flower garlands from the lord’s neck.
