Union Mines Secretary Dr Anup K Pujari visited the Nalco Corporate Office here on Monday along with Additional Secretary R Sridharan.
Dr Pujari and Sridharan had an interaction with the senior officials of the Nalco, which is under the administrative control of the Union Mines Ministry. Nalco CMD Ansuman Das and other Directors were present.
In his address, Dr Pujari appreciated the role of the Nalco in grooming professionals and its contribution towards spreading management excellence in the State. He also discussed different issues with the officials of the company.
Sridharan cited the Nalco as a public-oriented PSU and appreciated the company for sustaining an impressive growth trajectory. He advised the senior officials of the company to think seriously for the future and take necessary action in terms of technological upgradation to maintain the success track. Prior to his visit to the Corporate Office, Dr Pujari also visited the smelter and power complexes of the Nalco at Angul.
