After his release on bail, Dillip Kamila, husband of Rajeswari Kamila, lodged an FIR with the Town police here on Thursday evening alleging police atrocities on his wife, who was thrashed by a group of people after she hurled eggs at Chief Minister Naveen Patanik on January 31 at a meeting at Bhograi.
Dillip, a BJP supporter, also alleged that police and a doctor acted in a conspiracy in the matter in which Higher Education Minister and Bhograi MlA Ananta Das was also involved.
In his FIR, he named Ananta Das and Marine police station Inspector-in-Charge Jogendra Malik and District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) doctor Subodh Kumar Bej, who had discharged Rajeswari from the hospital.
His wife, although unwell, was hurriedly discharged from the hospital by Dr Bej under pressure and produced in the Jaleswar court, he has alleged. She was taken to jail after rejection of her bail petition and her condition in the jail deteriorated. For this, she was admitted again in the DHH and further refereed to the SCB Medical College Hospital in Cuttack, Dillip stated.
