In a bid to sensitise people about various Central Government schemes, including the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana and Swachha Bharat Abhiyan, a three-day workshop was held at the mini stadium here beginning from Thursday.
The workshop organised by the Jana Suchana Abhiyan Committee of Odisha in collaboration with the Press Information Bureau, DFP, DAVP, AIR Doordarshan and the Dhenkanal district administration, was inaugurated by Zilla Parishad president Binodini Samal.
District Collector Rupa Roshan Sahoo suggested to aware people about various State Government schemes simultaneously. Presiding over the meeting, Additional Director of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and Chairman of the Jana Suchana Committee, Odisha Debanjaan Chakrabarti said, “There is no difference among any Government; starting from gram panchayat to union level, the function, administration and responsibilities of the Governments are same everywhere”.
Among others, PIB, Bhubaneswar MCO Pradeep Choudhury and Deputy Director Badri Narayan Adhikari spoke.
