The Taluk legal Service Committee organised an awareness programme on ‘atrocities on women and acid attack’ at the Nimapara College premises here on Wednesday.
Additional District Judge-cum-Committee Chairman Pradeep Kumar Pattanaik presided over the programme. The aim was to create awareness in the society to ensure that this type of heinous activities is not repeated.
Among others, Civil Senior Judge Saikat Patra and Civil Junior Judge Debasis Dash , JMFC (1) Sudipa Patra, JMFC(2) Nitisha Chandak , SDPO Arun Kumar Jena, police station IIC Niranjan Padhi and NPR College Principal Kamal Kanta Samantaray and lecturer Jagat Prasad Sabut were present.
